The Faculty of Sports Sciences (FIK) was established in 2008. FIK originated from the implementation of the Diploma II Program in Sports and Health Education (1981/1982) at the Faculty of Education Sciences. In its development, by the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 86/E/O/2012 dated March 5, 2012, regarding the Implementation of the Sports Coaching Education Program (S-1) at the State University of Malang, starting from the odd semester of 2012/2013, it began accepting new students for the Department/Study Program of Sports Coaching Education (S1).
